Woodstock

This is the house we are staying in for the weekend, it was to cold outside to do much more than this, Angie had lit a fire inside and I just couldn't take the chill. It's a rapid fire sketch of the day, if it warms up I'll try for something else or maybe I should sketch the fire place.

Great warm-up! It has a nice lively rhythm with all the vertical elements which contrast well against the horizontal architectural elements.

I guess the only good thing about the cold is helping you with the squiggles of the tree branches. Nice place you're staying at.

Love the sketch. Whenever I hear of Woodstock, it takes me back...not that I was there, but wanted to be.

Woodstock was fun but it was way too cold to be out, I wish I had done a little more work on this one before posting it but what's done is done.

I think this looks great - love the colors you chose!
If it makes you feel any better, I won't be doing any plein air for a while either - fear of frostbite lol.

Christy- yes it's way to cold for me right now, I think I'm going to be sketching household objects.

Cole- you never know, your crazy aunt is thinking about buying the the place.
